Rainy Days and YA Reads

Hello Book Lovers,

Today the current weather is rainy and cold, but I am not complaining, since it’s the perfect reading weather.  I am trying to soak up every reading minute that I possibly can and have just recently finished The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars, my first five out of five in a very long time. This story follows Victoria, a eighteen year old girl who is recently emancipated and after a life of being tossed from foster home to girls home, she now is forced to figure out life on her own. This story is about forgiveness, learning how to love with a broken heart and allowing to be loved.

I currently have two books on my night stand. Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky, have you ever wondered what life would be like if everything in the world was digital?

Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer, I don’t know too much about this book, but I do know that it involves the brilliant book, The Bell Jar, I’m very excited to start reading this book.

That’s all for now, happy Saturday!

Until Next Time,

Crystal
